Four Winns 288 Vistas blend of solid construction, comfortable acommodations, and competitive price makes her a strong contender in the under-30-foot segment of todays express-boat market. Built on a modified-V hull with cored hullsides, the interior of the 288 Vista is a little larger than other boats in her class thanks to a wide 9-foot, 8-inch beam. The layout--which differs little from other midcabin cruisers--sleeps six with double berths fore and aft and a convertible Ultraleather settee in the main cabin. The midcabin area is a tight fit, but the head is large, and the galley has the refrigerator located above the microwave so you dont have to bend down to reach it. For after-hours privacy, curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main cabin. Topside, the cockpit is configured with a U-shaped lounge aft, refreshment center with slide-out cooler, removable table, and an electric engine hatch. Note that the double helm seat has a flip-up bolster for the driver. An extended swim platform, aluminum radar arch, tilt steering wheel, and transom shower were standard.
