The protection of the person-related and otherwise sensitive data made available by the dealer is of important concern to deluxe Marketing UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (hereafter called: boat.ag).

§ 1 Person-related data
a) General

Person-related data is data which identifies or could identify the dealer. Boat.ag abides by the principle of data avoidance. As far as possible, the collection of personal data is waived.

b) Use of Data
Person-related data serves exclusively to procure a contract, to design its contents, to execute or effect a contractual relationship. Data is principally not forwarded to third parties, unless it is necessary for fulfillment of contract. Use of person-related data only takes place if necessary, especially for keeping a dealer account or as far as boat.ag is required by law or per court ruling or, if necessary, to stop a misuse towards the General Terms and Conditions in its lawfulness. Personal data entered by dealers is forwarded in its necessary extent to third-party or publishers’ Internet sites, as far as they publish boat.ag’s published advertisements or parts thereof on other platforms or Internet media.

c) Data Storage
The dealer can object to the storage of their personal data at any time. Excluded from this is data which must be kept ready and available for the purpose of contract fulfillment. Upon written request or enquiry, boat.ag informs the dealer about the data stored about their person.

d) Correction of Data
The dealer has the right to correct, delete or block incorrect personal data. This can be taken care of simply through the dealer account.

§ 2 Newsletter/Marketing
If you sign up for our newsletter, we will use your transmitted data to send you the newsletter. In this case, your email address will be used for our own marketing purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can reject this agreement at any time effective for the future by unsubscribing from the newsletter.

§ 3 Data for Use and Registration
For the configuration of the Internet site, data is collected, processed and used as necessary for use and registration. Data from the dealer and IP addresses are registered in a log file by time and date and used and saved/stored for this website’s purpose of statistical evaluations. A merging of data for use and registration with personal data shall not take place.

§ 4 Data Safety
a )Liability

All data on www.boat.ag is insured through technical and organizational measures against loss, damage/destruction, access, tempering and distribution. Boat.ag is not liable, however, for the destruction and damage of data

b) Sessions and Cookies
To access the Internet presentation, boat.ag can use cookies or server-based sessions, in which data is saved and stored. Cookies can, for example, be used to personal greet the member by name.
