The Hallberg-Rassy 29 is a truly seaworthy cruising yacht that is more than capable of crossing any ocean with ease. She also exudes warmth and comfort below and is built with a ruggedness that imparts a feeling of comfort in her crew whatever the weather conditions. First class workmanship in selected mahogany, handrubbed and treated to a silk smooth finish. 6 berths in 2 cabins. The accommodation consists from forward of:CHAIN/GAS LOCKER:
Water and gas tight stowage for liquid gas bottles, anchor chain below. The space is accessible from deck and drained overboard.FORWARD CABIN:
Fore cabin with two comfortable berths. Length of berths 2m (67). Infill cushion between berths. Stowage below the berths and shelves at sides.HEADS COMPARTMENT:
A folding door separates the forward cabin from the toilet compartment. The toilet cabin is fitted with a reliable marine pump action WC and a wash basin with fresh water from a foot pump. On the portside is a good sized hanging locker. Teak floor over drained bilge. Folding door to main cabinMAIN SALOON:
The main cabin has fair sized sofa-berths to port and starboard side. The portside sofa is L -shaped. Stowage behind the lift-up backrests. Lee cloths fitted to the backrests which allow these to be used as berths as well. 4 berths in total for the main saloon. The sofas are 2m (6 7) long. Book shelves and lockers behind the sofas. Dropleaf table with bottle stowage in centre section. Inside of the hull, above berths, is panelled with mahogany. The ceiling is lined with vinyl panels. Opening portholes. Headroom in main cabin 1.8m (5 11).GALLEY:
Port aft in main cabin is an L-shaped galley equipped with a 2 burner stove with oven in gimbals. Insulated cool box 50 litres with 12v keel cooled refrigeration unit. Double stainless steel sink with manual fresh water pump. Worktops in teak effect laminate. Drawers for cutlery, lockers for crockery, etc.CHART TABLE:
To starboard is the navigation table and electric switch panel. The quarter berth has been converted to storage (holds 6 medium plastic boxes). Aerogen wind generator and regulator

Sea Feather wind vane All spars supplied from Selden Mast AB, mast and boom made from silver anodised aluminum alloy. The mast has one set of spreaders with intregral cable conduits and is stepped on a base on the cabin roof directly over a reinforced bulkhead. Chainplates are made from stainless steel, lower shrouds, forestay and inner forestay 6mm stainless steel wire, backstay 4mm stainless steel wire. Reefing lines (3) atmast. Profurl roller reefing on genoa. All halyards new in 2006.

SAILS:
Fully battened mainsail re-cut to improve head room in cockpit to approx 6ft, lazy jacks and stackpack for easy stowage.
High cut Genoa to improve forward vision, asymetric head sail for light winds.

GRP sandwich construction 25mm, non slip finish in ivory white. Hull and deck joined by overlapping the GRP lanimate, bulwark formed in the deck and hull mouldings and fitted with a solid capping in teak. Cockpit is finished in teak. Main winches four Lewmar 8 in cockpit, one Lewmar 7 at mast.
Improvements – double bow roller, updated pullpit, inner forestay, removable bowsprit, electric windlass, improved spray hood, archway with easy access to transom, small sailing bimini, inflatable horseshoe and danbuoy, storm covers for all vents. Purchased in October 2005 with the intent to cruise and live aboard, a number of improvements have been made in order to achieve this goal safely and in comfort. All major works were carried out prior to our departure from UK shores in May 2007. Life raft
